Adults: John Calvin: The Man, The Pastor and The Church He Influenced
Through April 13 Peter Cobb, Peter Tuuk, Aaron Pratt, Baron Mullis and George Stroup will lead a class exploring the 16th century Reformer and his ministry that transformed the church. The class will use Dr. George Stroup's book, Calvin, as a guide. Any and all are welcome to join the class in Room 201 at 9:45 a.m.
Children: The 3s, 4s, and 5s class will hear about two Sisters, Mary and Martha, and the choices they made as they listen to the story A Better thing to Do. Younger elementary classes will learn how Jesus answers a challenge to teach the most important of God's commandments. 4th and 5th graders will be in worship for Communion.

SHROVE TUESDAY PANCAKE SUPPER AND PAJAMA PARTY
All are invited to celebrate Shrove Tuesday at our annual MPC and Preschool Pancake Supper and Pajama Party tonight, March 4, from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. Enjoy dinner for the whole family while Bill Packard - The Magic Man - delights kids and adults with his tricks and antics! We will collect NEW pajamas, socks and underwear for THREADS, a children's clothing ministry of All Saints Episcopal Church. Children are invited to wear pajamas!
ASH WEDNESDAY SERVICE
Lent begins at Morningside with our worship service and imposition of ashes this Wednesday, March 5 at 7 p.m. Child care will be available.
COINS FOR CHILDREN
Be sure to pick up a coin bank at Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper or next Sunday in order to help us raise funds for the programs at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta during Lent. These funds support the clown program and other programs which support patients and their families at Children's.
30TH HUNGER WALK/RUN
Join the Morningside family for the 30th Hunger Walk/Run after church this Sunday, March 9. This event is facilitated by the MPC Young Adults in partnership with the Presbytery of Greater Atlanta. The Hunger Walk/Run benefits six local hunger relief organizations that operate and support hundreds of food pantries, shelters, community kitchens, senior centers and child care centers across metro Atlanta and north Georgia. THEOLOGY ON TAP
The first Tuesday in March is Shrove Tuesday, so we are pushing Theology on Tap to the second Tuesday, March 11 at 7 p.m. Our host will be John Blevins (33 Beverly Road, NE, Atlanta 30309). Looking down the road, our next Theology on Tap will be on April 8. Richard Brownlee will host, and the venue will be at Pam and Ken Sharpe's home. Details to follow. ONE GRAY HAIR
One Gray Hair will meet at noon next Wednesday, March 12 for lunch and a program in Fellowship Hall. Our speaker is Morningside member Daisy Ottmann, and she will do a program on her trip to Italy last fall. RSVP to rsbrownlee1026@att.net.
MPP
On Saturday, March 15, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon MPP will partner right here in the church parking lot with Atlanta Paint Disposal to collect and recycle or dispose of household items in an environmentally friendly manner. Our preschool will earn 15 percent of fees from items turned in to help fund preschool environmental projects. Please join us, and for more information contact mpp@morningsidepc.org.
