MEDITATION WORKSHOP
How do we develop the "good soil" in our minds? Meditation has been a Christian practice since apostolic times and is effective in calming the mind and allowing the Holy Spirit to expand in our hearts. It is a practice that has stood the test of time with untold numbers of meditators from all religions. Please join us for a Christian meditation workshop
this Saturday, May 17 at 11 a.m. Ken Sharpe will cover what meditation is, why it is effective, and how we practice it.

"THANK YOU" FOR A JOB WELL DONE
As we look ahead to the arrival of Mason Copeland as Morningside's new organist/choirmaster, we owe a deep word of thanks for a job well done to Robert Bolyard, interim choirmaster, and Sarah Martin, interim organist. They have accomplished the task of bridging the time between Walter Huff and Mason and have offered us new ways to think of worship and music. Say "thank you" to Robert and Sarah at our Congregational Lunch this
Sunday, May 18. If you have not yet signed up to come to the lunch, you may do so by emailing the church office
office@morningsidepc.org by noon today.
