ADULT
This Sunday, August 3 we continue our joint adult education class exploring the Old Testament texts you might not have heard in church and will take a closer look at some stories you thought you knew. Join us Sunday mornings in Room 201 at 9:45 a.m.
Beginning Sunday, August 17, adult learners will have two options to consider at 9:45 a.m. Look for more information soon!
CHILDREN
Today the preschool children will hear the story Lions Lions and learn how God honored Daniel's faithfulness.
Elementary classes will read Colossians 3 to learn how Christians are to live together in peace and love.

Our yoga class will resume this morning, July 29. July 31 will be our final summer class! Fall classes begin September.
DINE OUT FOR INTOWN!
Have dinner at Sweet Auburn Barbecue (656 N. Highland) from 6 to 10 p.m.tonight, July 29 and 10 percent of the proceeds will go to support Intown Collaborative Ministries.
CONGRATULATIONS TO CHRIS PETERS
We extend our deep congratulations to Chris Peters, who has accepted a call to become the associate pastor of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Fairhope, AL. Chris will conclude his service at Morningside on August 3. We wish Chris and Lauren all the best in this new chapter of their lives together.
SUNDAY SCHOOL KICK-OFF AND CONGREGATIONAL MEETING

Don't miss the celebration of a new school year. On Sunday, August 10, from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. in Fellowship Hall, kids of all ages are invited to a light breakfast and fun activities with their parents. There will be face painting, animal costumes, games, music with Mrs. Shipley and "moving up" to new classes.

Following worship on Sunday, August 10, we will take a congregational vote to call Rev. Drew Stockstill to become our full-time Associate Pastor. Please be here for this important meeting.
SIX STAR
The Six Star Refugee Partnership will receive a new family this summer, and we need to stock a new apartment to welcome the family. Needs include twin, double or queen bed frames (we are required by law to buy new mattresses), sofa, chairs, lamps, end tables, bedroom furniture, etc. Volunteers are needed to help move and set up furniture. If you have any furniture to donate, or are interested in helping, please contact Holly Campbell hollycampbell1@gmail.com or 404.435.0676.
AUGUST CONGREGATIONAL LUNCH
Please respond by August 18, if you plan to attend the congregational lunch after worship on Sunday, August 24. Expect a fun, casual, end-of-year theme, as well as a report from our youth about their summer trips. Use the response card found in Sunday bulletins or RSVP to office@morningsidepc.org. Suggested donations are $10 adults, $5 children.
