DINE OUT FOR INTOWN COLLABORATIVE MINISTRIES
Join your Intown friends at Ink and Elm this Wednesday, September 24 from 6 to 10 p.m. and 10 percent of your bill will go to support work being done to prevent and reverse homelessness and hunger. Ink and Elm is located in Emory Village (1577 N. Decatur Road).  Dine Out contributions apply in the Tavern section only. 

FOOD TRUCKS RETURN
Food trucks return this Thursday, September 25, in our parking lot from 5 to 8 p.m. Come on over for an after-school, after-work dinner with your MPC friends and neighbors.

CLIFTON GRADUATION DINNER
Our next time to provide food for Clifton is this Saturday, September 27, the day of their graduation celebration. We will help by bringing side items, desserts, and drinks to share from 4 to 6 p.m. Graduation is a special event to honor past and present graduates and is always memorable. INSTALLATION OF DREW STOCKSTILL
This Sunday, September 28, Morningside will join with representatives of the Presbytery of Greater Atlanta to install Drew Stockstill to the office of Associate Pastor at MPC. This special service will take place at the 11 a.m. service of worship with Dana Hughes preaching. A reception will follow.

OFFICER NOMINATING COMMITTEE
It's time to nominate Elders for the Session, Deacons for the Board of Deacons, and next year's representatives to the Officer Nominating Committee. This Sunday, September 28, nomination forms will be in the bulletin, the Narthex and the Welcome Center. This is your opportunity to nominate someone to be a candidate for office. Prayerfully consider your nominee(s), then ask their permission before you submit their name for consideration to the Officer Nominating Committee. You can turn in nomination forms to the church office, place them in the offering plate or put them in one of the boxes in the Narthex and Welcome Center. The Officer Nominating Committee will announce the final slate of officers at a Congregational Meeting on Sunday, October 12 when elections will take place.

RHO BOOK SALE
You can help support literacy among immigrant students at The Global Village School in Decatur and The Fugees Academy in Clarkston by donating your used books to our RHO Readers group for their annual sale in Fellowship Hall, which will begin October 5, and by picking up some low-priced new reads during the sale. You can drop off your hardbacks, paperbacks, children's books and audio literature in the Session Room beginning September 28.

BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS
On Sunday, October 5, Morningside members - and their animals - are invited to gather on the lawn at 5 p.m. for a special service in which we give thanks to God for all of creation. Traditionally celebrated on the Feast Day of St. Francis, Blessing of the Animals is our opportunity to express our love for our pets and to give thanks to God for them. This short service welcomes all - as is our custom - but we do ask that all pets are appropriately restrained by leash or carrier. Please join in giving thanks to God!
