BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS
On
Sunday, October 5, Morningside members - and their animals - are invited to gather on the lawn at 5 p.m. for a special service in which we give thanks to God for all of creation. Traditionally celebrated on the Feast Day of St. Francis, Blessing of the Animals is our opportunity to express our love for our pets and to give thanks to God for them. This short service welcomes all - as is our custom - but we do ask that all pets are appropriately restrained by leash or carrier. Please join in giving thanks to God!
