Morningside may be 90 years old, but she's still going strong! We will celebrate this Sunday, November 15 with a commemorative worship service and lunch afterwards. Remember to bring a salad/vegetable (A-M last name) or dessert (N-Z last name). Honey Baked ham, fried chicken, rolls and beverages will be provided.
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 12 GEORGIA GIVES!...This Thursday is GA Gives Day, a special, 24-hour online giving event to raise funds for Georgia charities, like
Intown Collaborative Ministries. "In honor of our 5th anniversary, all donations up to $5000 will be matched by a generous donor. Whether it's $5 or $500, we'd love your support of our work...Plus your impact will be doubled!" says Executive Director Brad Schweers. ICM works to prevent and reverse homelessness and hunger, serving over 600 individuals annually by way of a Food Pantry, Food Co-op, Clothing Closet, Street Outreach, and Heading Home programs.
