2ND ANNUAL YOUTH DESSERT AUCTION SUCCESS
Sunday's Youth Dessert Auction raised $2,420.00, which is going toward sending our Youth on this summer's trip to Montreat. Many thanks to those who donated the incredible baked goods and to the generous bidders! Auction winners, please remember to send in the money for your baked goods.
 

 

INTOWN COLLABORATIVE MINISTRIES OUTREACH
Sunday we launched the collection of supplies for the ICM Grab-n-Go bags, which will be assembled by MPC 1st-5th grade Sunday School students. The ICM outreach teams will pass these out as they engage with homeless people on the streets. To sign up for specific items needed for the bags, go to SignUp Genius. Place additional donations in the blue Mission bin in the stairwell next to the church office.
 
COUPLES GROUP GATHERING
All couples are invited to meet at the home of Susan and Tom Oder (1334 Old Johnson Ferry Rd., N.E., Atlanta, 30319) this Friday, May 11 at 7 p.m. The main course will be barbecue from The Greater Good. Contact Kathy Bremer at kathydaybremer@gmail.com to RSVP and sign up to bring an appetizer, side dish, or dessert.
 
MAC FRAMPTON IN CONCERT
Come experience our very own Mac Frampton at the piano in the Sanctuary, this Sunday, May 13th at 3:00 p.m., benefiting the 2019 Choir European Tour. MPC PHOTO DIRECTORY
We are in the process of finalizing the MPC photo directory. If you missed out on having your picture taken early last spring or have joined our church in the past year, we will be taking photos this Sunday, May 13. Weather permitting, we will take pictures outdoors in the gardens area from 10:30-10:45 a.m. and again after church until 1:00 p.m. Email boardofdeacons@morningsidepc.org with questions.

On Tuesday, May 15th at 8 p.m., the Horizon Theater will host the premier of a new play called Citizens Market100% of the ticket sales from this event will go to support the operations of Rebecca’s Tent (an MPC Mission focus).  Rebecca’s Tent supports homeless women in rebuilding their lives.
