SUNDAY SERVICE SEPTEMBER 30TH
On September 30th, our worship service will integrate a newly composed hymn for Morningside by Jonathan Crutchfield and Michael Morgan. The premiere of this new composition celebrates Morningside’s Strategic Plan and Vision over the next horizon: Journey Together. This special service will focus on Morningside’s faith journey and future vision as we Worship Together, Serve Together, Grow Together and Be Together as a congregation and family of faith. Following the service, videos created by Bob Wells depicting several members’ Morningside Journeys will be shared in the Fellowship Hall.
BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS
This special service recognizes our animals that make an important contribution to the beauty in our lives. All Morningside members with pets are welcome to bring them on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at 5:00 p.m., so that we may bless them and give thanks to God for their life. We ask that your pet is properly restrained either by carrier or leash, and if your pet is not “pet friendly” please bring a picture of him/her.
RETREAT PAYMENT DEADLINE
If you haven't paid your balance for the Retreat, Sunday September 30th is the deadline. Make checks out to Morningside Presbyterian Church with "Retreat" on the memo line.

MESSAGE FROM OUR TREASURER
Just a reminder - Church expenses for operations and missions are fairly uniform through the year. Receipts from pledges and offerings tend to lag during the summer which puts stress on church reserves. Please consider staying current with your pledge to assure our financial stability. Feel free to direct questions to church treasurer,
Bill Humphries.
