After-worship Refreshments

Each Sunday immediately after the worship service, everyone is invited to join together in the Fellowship Hall to enjoy refreshments and social chat, a tradition long-time Morningsiders still sometimes call "Parlor." It is a nice time to meet and get to know visitors and new members as well as a time to catch up on the activities of friends during the past week.

Two or more members (or friends) volunteer to provide the refreshments each week.  Our elected deacons and elders and other formal and informal groups also host as a way of publicizing their activities.  You can volunteer to act as coordinator for one quarter of the year or to host this time together by contacting Congregational Nurture Chair Mary Chapman.
