AIDS Walk Atlanta

AIDS Walk/Run Atlanta is the largest AIDS fundraising event in the southeast. Every year, AIDS Walk/Run Atlanta raises much-needed funds for organizations throughout the metro-Atlanta area so that men, women, and children living with HIV/AIDS can benefit from essential programs and services. These AIDS service organizations provide education, testing, case management, mental health, and support services to people living with and affected by HIV and AIDS.

Funds generated through the AIDS Walk support the work of AID Atlanta, AID Gwinnett, Aniz, Open Hand, AIDS Alliance for Faith and Health, Jerusalem House, AIDS Research Consortium of Atlanta, AIDS Survival Project, Home But Not Alone, and Positive Impact.

Morningside's participation:
Members of Morningside Presbyterian Church participate annually by runningin the 5K race, or walking with the community, or through donations to MPC's team. The funds raised help educate the community about how this inclusive disease impacts all of our lives, a message that everyone deserves both support and treatment.

How you can get involved:
Support the MPC Team, or contact Keith Blount for information about how to participate or donate.
