Just as Jesus is the Light of the World, Morningside Presbyterian Church aspires to be a light to our congregation, our neighborhood, our city and our planet. Our logo reflects this outlook: the golden rays of sunlight on the "morning side" of a life of faith, the curve not only of the rising sun but also the Hill of Golgotha with its crowning empty cross, emblematic of the rising Son.
Morningside Presbyterian Church's doors are open to everyone as we aspire to live out our motto: Welcome All. Serve All. We offer a selection of Bible studies and Sunday school classes, inspirational Sunday worship and music, a robust variety of service and connecting opportunities and programs, and an outstanding preschool. We hope you're planning a visit to our church. We offer children’s and adult Sunday school classes beginning at 9:45 a.m., and an infant and toddlers’ nursery is available. For a light breakfast, we offer coffee and donuts or bagels. Click here to learn more about our Christian education offerings.
Sunday Worship at Morningside begins at 11:00 a.m. Plans for upcoming worship services are also available on the site.
Some logistical information that may be helpful ... Directions to our church can be found by clicking on the link shown. Parking is available on both sides of the church as well as along both North Morningside Drive and Wessyngton Road (directly in front of and behind the church). The nursery is available during worship, and there are children’s Sunday school classes during the worship hour as well.
Please plan to join us for After-worship Refreshments downstairs in Fellowship Hall, accessible by stairs and elevator.
