Welcome Newest Morningsiders
Joining us last Sunday were:

    Carrie Branon, a teacher, and husband Brendan who are expecting their first child shortly.
    Chad and Carolyn Johnson – Chad is a consultant; Carolyn is a real estate agent.
    Whitney Maloy and Brandon Griggs are engaged to be married a year from now. Whitney is a student; Brandon is in IT support.

Beloved Community: From Formation to Action
Presbyterian leaders Rev. Troy Bronsink and Rev. Dr. Margaret Aymer are among leaders for this conference Oct. 10-11  at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 501 Grant St SE, Atlanta, GA 30312. Sort Food Saturday, Oct. 18
Sign up in the Narthex to sort food at the Atlanta Community Food Bank on Saturday morning, October 18, 9am-12noon. We usually go out to lunch afterwards! Contact MPC Shepherd Randy Brookins with any questions at 365runswim2live1968@gmail.com.

Funderball!
Don't miss Morningside Preschool's 3rd annual fundraiser on Oct. 18, 7-9pm at the Warren City Club. All are invited to this casual cocktail party and silent auction to raise funds for enrichment programs, such as Spanish, Musicanopy and Science. Time of Promise Update
Brick work will be complete mid-week; all of roofing by end of week. Elevator work starts this week. Drywall and electrical set to begin.
