Women's Bible Study Tomorrow
Joanna Adams’ First Wednesday Women’s Bible Study will be tomorrow, Jan. 7, from 9:15 – 10:30 a.m. Her topic: “Healings, Demons, and Raisings” in the Gospel of Luke. We will be meeting in our new space, Room 201, just a short elevator ride upstairs! Come at 9 a.m. for coffee and pastries. Childcare is provided.  Women from the community, members, visitors and friends are all welcome.

Now that the Renovation Is Complete...
Now that the renovation is complete, you may be wondering where to find things as you enjoy the beautiful new lobby, classrooms, restrooms, offices, and of course the elevator! Here are some tips:

-From the parking lot, follow the stone walkway to the new double doors. You are entering the new lobby. This comfortable and inviting space (with great lighting!) is the new home of our Sunday morning Coffee and Conversation, which takes place every Sunday from 9:30-10:45am. It's a great chance to come and visit with neighbors and friends over a cup of coffee and enjoy the comfy sofas and chairs in the lobby!

-On this level, to the left as you enter the double doors, you will also find new wheelchair accessible restrooms. Be sure to pause and appreciate how beautifully decorated they are!

-You will also want to take the short elevator ride or walk the stairs to level two, where you will find a comfortable and functional lobby, as well as the new Morningside Room 201. This large classroom is the new home to the Sunday morning Bible Class (every week at 9:45am), Joanna's monthly Women's Bible Study (First Wednesday of each month at 9:15am), Sunday Forums, and other educational programs.

-Finally, remember that the elevator allows easy access for all people to the Fellowship Hall, where our Sunday Fellowship Hour takes place each week. Simply take the elevator to level "LL" and look for the punch and cookies straight ahead!

Clean Your Closet for ICA
If cleaning out your closet is one of your new year's resolutions, please keep Intown Community Assistance in mind.  We are collecting used clothing and travel size toiletries in preparation for the elementary age mission day January 10. That day the kids will sort clothes for the shelter and make toiletry bags. Please place your items in Fellowship Hall's left corner no later than Fri. Jan. 9.

New Member Sunday, January 18
Have you been thinking about joining Morningside Presbyterian? We would love to welcome you. Our next New Member Sunday is January 18. Plan to join us for the Inquirers’ Class at 9:45 a.m. in the Session Room 103. The Session will meet immediately afterward to receive new members. Please be in touch with Joanna Adams at joannamadams@bellsouth.net or 404.876.7396 x11 to let her know of your interest.

Lunch & Learn
Not to be confused with New Member Sunday, please join Joanna Adams and Chris Henry for Lunch & Learn this Sunday, Jan. 11, 12:15 pm, Room 107. New members and any who are considering joining MPC are welcome. Please RSVP to Deacon Shari Tant at 770.924.4396 or stant@tmo.blackberry.net by Wed., Jan. 7.
