LENTEN DEVOTIONAL
Lenten Devotionals are available to be picked up today, in preparation of the beginning of Lent. A very big "Thank You!" to everyone who was willing to design, contribute, or proofread this year's Lenten Devotional.

WOMEN'S ROUNDTABLE
All are welcome at the home of Lynn Young 404.897.5202 (277 The Prado, 30309) for Women's Roundtable tomorrow night, 6:30-8:45 p.m.  RSVP to Melinda Sandkam today.  Our guest speaker will be Rachel Alterman Wallack who leads VOX Teen Communications.

PAJAMAS!
Pajamas fly out the door at the Threads store, a clothing ministry of All Saint's Episcopal Church.  MPC will help to ease the deficit by collecting new pajamas, underwear and socks through this Tuesday. There are collection baskets in the Narthex for your new PJ's, underwear, and socks to warm up infants through 5th grade sizes.  Boys' clothes are in shorter supply than girls' clothes, so if in doubt, choose boys' clothes.  Contact Gail Kitchens at 770.436.7617 or Grace Howard 404.849.4758 with any questions.

SHROVE TUESDAY PANCAKE SUPPER
Come one and all to our second annual Shrove Tuesday event, which will also be a pajama party this year!  Contact Leslie Prince with any questions.  Children are invited to wear their favorite pajamas and bring a new pair for our collection with Threads.  They will also have a chance to decorate coin banks to take home and fill during Lent. The coins collected will support the clown program at Children's Healthcare.  All are welcome this Tuesday, February 24, 5:30-6:45 p.m. in Fellowship Hall as we join with the preschool community for this great outreach.

ASH WEDNESDAY SERVICE
Please plan to join us for our Ash Wednesday Service February 25 at
7 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Childcare will be provided in Room 105.

YOUNG ADULT CONVERSATIONS
The Young Adults will be gathering this Friday, February 27 at 7 p.m. in the home of Amy DeBaets and Brian Mills (741 Carlyle Lake, Decatur, 30033) to enjoy good food, good fellowship and good conversation. Our conversation will center on Lenten practices and what it means to live in a season of Lent.  Please come with a small appetizer to share and a willingness to join the conversation!  Please RSVP to Amy DeBaets (amy.debaets@gmail.com).

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION AT MORNINGSIDE

The Bible Class - The Last Week
A Day-by-Day Account of Jesus' Final Week in Jerusalem

Next Sunday, March 1, Morningside's Bible Class will begin a Lenten Study on the final days leading to the crucifixion of Jesus through the lens of Mark's Gospel. As we study these well-known scripture passages, we will discuss their meaning for us as we travel our own Lenten Pilgrimage in 2009. Next week, seminary intern Kevin Weber will lead the class and we will begin the series by studying Mark 11: 1-11, the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday. In this highly symbolic scene, Jesus enters Jerusalem in ways that fulfill many of the messianic hopes of the Hebrew prophets. As we begin our Lenten pilgrimage, we will examine the reactions of the those gathered for Passover that first Palm Sunday. Please join us! This class meets at 9:45am in the new Morningside Room (201).
