WELCOME REV. ENNISS
This week we welcome The Rev. P.C. Enniss as our guest preacher at the 11 a.m. worship service. Rev. Enniss is currently serving Trinity Presbyterian Church in Atlanta as Theologian in Residence.

REFLECTIONS ON THIRTY YEARS OF MINISTRY
Morningside's pastor, Joanna Adams, was ordained as a Minister of Word and Sacrament on July 3, 1979. Two weeks from today, on July 5, 2009, the Sunday marking her thirtieth year of ordained ministry, Joanna will offer reflections on the lessons and experiences of three decades of distinguished leadership in the Presbyterian Church and the City of Atlanta. Joanna has written extensively on this topic over the years, contributing articles and chapters to a number of books. This informal conversation with our pastor will take place after worship in Room 201.

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION AT MORNINGSIDE
The Bible Class - The Epistle to the Hebrews

Next Sunday, June 28, Morningside's Bible Class will finish its month-long study of the Book of Hebrews, an interesting and surprisingly timely New Testament writing. Next week, we will explore the final three chapters of this early Christian proclamation, which point to the inspiring example of our ancestors in the faith. Anyone whose Christian faith has been influenced by the lives of those who came before will be at home in these moving chapters. The section begins with this stirring definition of faith, "now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen." Come to learn from others and share your own perspective! The Morningside Bible Class is taught by Associate Pastor Chris Henry and meets each Sunday at 9:45am in Room 201.
