Thought for the Week...Do not look forward to the changes and chances of this life in fear; rather look to them with full hope that, as they arise, God, whose you are, will deliver you out of them. He had kept you hitherto, - do you but hold fast to His dear Hand, and He will lead you safely through all things; and, when you cannot stand, He will bear you in His arms. Do not look forward to what may happen tomorrow; the same everlasting Father who cares for you today, will take care of you tomorrow, and every day. Either He will shield you from suffering, or He will give you unfailing strength to bear it. Be at peace then, and put aside all anxious thoughts and imaginations. ~ St. Francis De Sales
Christmas Cards...Christmas cards with a beautiful photograph of the Morningside sanctuary during last year's Christmas Eve service will be available for purchase in the Welcome Center on Sundays beginning October 25 and also in the church office. The cost is $15 for a box of 15 cards. Proceeds will go to support Morningside's Mission Ministries.
Wednesday, October 14...Join us for dinner at 5:30 p.m. for unforgettable fun as the Calvin Center program staff show us what a great place camp is. All families welcome. RSVP to Melinda Sandkam ASAP.
Saturday, October 17...Join us for Funderball (one of MPP's largest fundraisers) at 7 p.m. at the Warren City Club. You will enjoy food, drink and a silent auction. RSVP as soon as possible. For more information contact Dawn Bell.

Make plans to join us in Room 201 at 12:15 p.m.
Plan to join or support your fellow Morningside members at AIDS Walk Atlanta as we walk to raise much needed funds for essential programs for those affected by HIV/AIDS in the Atlanta area. For more information, contact Shannon Harris.
