12:15 p.m. Transition Team Listening Session; Goblins in the Botanical Gardens

Tonight...Join Georgia's premier brass band for a thrilling concert of classical favorites in the MPC sanctuary at 7:30 p.m. Our own Bill Southwood is a principle player in this 30 piece band that has garnered local and international critical acclaim.
Christmas Cards...Christmas cards with a beautiful photograph of the Morningside sanctuary during last year's Christmas Eve service will be available for purchase in the Welcome Center on Sundays beginning October 25 and also in the church office. The cost is $15 for a box of 15 cards. Proceeds will go to support Morningside's Mission Ministries.
Friday, October 23...is the last day to bring in your donations for the Mitten Tree. We are collecting mittens, scarves, hats, and gloves for the pre-school children at Our House. Place your offerings on the tree near the preschool entrance.
Sunday, October 25...The Transition Team will hold a congregational listening session today in Room 201 following worship.
Everyone is invited to a special outing after worship today. We will meet in Fellowship Hall for lunch and then leave for the Atlanta Botanical Gardens "Goblins in the Garden" party. For more information and to RSVP contact Vickie Hunter at 404.676.0423.
Did You Know...that Nick Miller, a member of Boy Scout Troop 455 at Haygood UMC, is extending the nature path in front of Morningside and creating a meditation area?
