DAY 1

Joanna Adams is the featured speaker on the January 3 and 10  “Day 1” programs.  The two episodes, which launch the 65th year of weekly broadcasts for “Day 1,” celebrate Adams’ three decades as a pastor, preacher, and church leader. Of her first sermon Dr. Adams says, “Knowing what time it is differentiates the foolish from the wise.” Adams’ second sermon is “God Believes in You.”  The "Day 1" program airs on Atlanta Radio Station WSB 750 AM at 7:05 a.m.  For more information, visit their website at www.day1.org.

The Bible Class

Bible Basics: Getting Into Scripture

Next Sunday, January 10, Morningside's Bible Class will continue its series entitled, "Bible Basics: Getting into Scripture." This four-week series is designed to give new or inexperienced Bible students some of the basic tools needed to more fully understand how to approach the scriptures of the Hebrew Bible and New Testament. It is also a great refresher course for longtime students of the Bible. If your New Year's resolution is to learn more about your faith, this is the place to start!  The Morningside Bible Class meets each Sunday at 9:45am in Room 201 and is taught by Associate Pastor Christopher Henry.
