This Sunday Morningside's Bible Class will continue its series entitled, "A Journey Through the Word." MPC member Jim Martin will lead a discussion of Paul's Letter to the Romans, the next in our book-by-book study of the New Testament. The Morningside Bible Class meets each Sunday at 9:45am in Room 201.

You are invited to joinconveners Katie Davis and Amy DeBaets in a new class on Faith Development. The focus of this class will be personal and communal spiritual growth. The class meets in the Church Parlor (Rm 107) at 9:45 a.m. and runs through May. You are invited to come for the entire class or sections of the class. Contact Katie Davis at 770.923.0002 or

CHILDREN
Today, our preschoolers hear the story of the man who was blind and who was brought to Jesus. Jesus touched his eyes, and the man was able to see (Mark 8:22-26). The school-age classes continue a four week study of the ways in which we praise God through prayers, hymns, listening to messages and scripture from the Bible, celebrating the sacraments, and giving offerings to our church and to others (Luke 4:16-22a).

THEOLOGY ON TAP
Men of Morningside, be sure your calendars are marked for Theology on Tap tonight at 7 p.m. We will gather at the home of Alan Bremer (785 Cumberland Road, 30306). Topic: "After Haiti: Theological Responses to Disaster." In light of the recent earthquake in Haiti, we will consider again the age old question, "where is God in the midst of tragedy?" The food will be good and the conversation will be lively, make plans to be there!
THURSDAY, MARCH 4:
WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY
Members, friends, neighbors, and visitors are invited to attend the Morningside Women's Bible Study this Thursday, March 4, 9:15 - 10:30 a.m. On the first Thursday of March, April, and May, Chris Henry will lead a series entitled, "The Beloved Community: Snapshots of the Church in Acts." Our first gathering will focus on Acts 2:14-47 and Acts 4:23-37. Come to Room 201 at 9 a.m. for coffee and pastries before the study begins.

NEW MEMBER SUNDAY
If you have been thinking about joining the Morningside congregation, this Sunday is a great time to do it! Simply come to the Inquirers Class at 9:45 a.m. in the Session Room (Room 103). Morningside members will share information about the life of this vibrant church and Chris Henry will lead a conversation on following Christ and being Presbyterian in the 21st Century. The Session will meet immediately afterward to receive new members.
