CHRISTIAN EDUCATION AT MORNINGSIDE
Adult Sunday School Classes
What did Jesus mean by “this is my body” and “do this in remembrance of me”? Why do some Christians baptize infants and some do not? One man’s attempts to answer these questions at the very real risk to his life lie at the heart of the Heidelberg Catechism and the Second Helvetic Confession. Next Sunday, January 16, learn more about this history and what these confessions say about our church today, including stewardship of creation and the Three “C’s” of Presbyterianism. “I Confess! What We Say It Means to be Presbyterian” is a Morningside Bible Class discussion led by Jack and James Klotz at 9:45 in Room 201 through February 6.
Children’s Classes
Preschool Children will learn about Jesus calling his twelve helpers in the story Follow Me! Younger Elementary classes will hear about John the Baptist’s work to prepare people for Jesus. Double Digits will consider how to respond to John’s message.
