ADULT: Join the Morningside Bible Class for a four-week speaker series focusing on God's Creation and ways we can respond to the call to greater environmental stewardship. Our series begins this Sunday, with Dr. Dabney Dixon, Professor of Chemistry at Georgia State University, who will present "The House of Prayer for All People: Scientific Perspectives and God's Creation". This class meets in Room 201.

CHILDREN: This Sunday, the Preschool Class will hear A Little Lunch and learn how a boy helped Jesus feed a great crowd. Elementary classes will read Jesus' teaching about the birds and flowers and consider Jesus' call not to worry but to live knowing that God loves us.

JOIN PRESBYTERIAN DAY AT THE GEORGIA CAPITOL
The Public Policy and Advocacy Partnership of the Presbytery will host its annual day at the state capitol this Thursday, February 10. The day begins with a continental breakfast at Central Presbyterian at 9 a.m., followed by break-out sessions on immigration, health care, and the state budget from 9:30 to 10 a.m., then head across the street to the capitol to observe the General Assembly in session, visit a legislator's office, or attend a committee meeting. LYDIA CIRCLE
Lydia Circle will hold their next meeting this Thursday, February 10 at the home of Rachel Spears (1728 N. Pelham Rd, 30324). For more information or to RSVP contact Tara Parrish at taraparrish@bellsouth.net.

COUPLES GROUP
The MPC Couples Group meets this Friday, February 11 at 7 p.m. at the home of Alan and Kathy Bremer. The group gets together the second Friday of each month for informal socializing, fun, dinner and enrichment. All MPC couples and friends are invited! Every month, one or more new couples are welcomed to the group. RSVP to Kathy Bremer, kdbremer@bellsouth.net.

NEW CHURCH DEVELOPMENT DINNER
MPC will be supporting the ministry of the NCD Commission with our attendance at their annual dinner and worship this Saturday, February 12 at 5:30 p.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church. Contact Bryan Davis today at bdavis@mindspring.com if you would like to join us.

BREAD FOR THE JOURNEY

DR. MARK BRAVERMAN TO SPEAK AT SPECIAL LUNCH
Dr. Mark Braverman, author of Fatal Embrace: Christians, Jews, and the Search for Peace in the Holy Land (foreword by Walter Brueggemann), will speak at Manuel's Tavern on Friday, February 11, Noon-1:30.

FUN FOR KIDS
Our 4th-7th grade Double Digits will enjoy an afternoon of bowling following worship this Sunday, February 13. Saturday evening, February 19, our new pastor Baron Mullis will be the special guest at a Father & Son Game Night atMPC 6-8 p.m. for 2nd grade and older. HELP FEED MEN AT DRUID HILLS NIGHT SHELTER
Please sign up on the mission bulletin board outside the Session Room to provide a dish this Sunday, February 13 to help feed 30 men staying at Druid Hills Night Shelter. Contact Curt Barrett with any questions at emailcurt@mindspring.com or 404.310.4665.
