ADULT: Join the Morningside Bible Class for this speaker series focusing on God's Creation and ways we can respond to the call to greater environmental stewardship. Our series continues this Sunday, February 20 with Anne Harper, Director of Development at GreenLaw. Ms. Harper will give us an update on their work in Environmental Justice. This class meets each Sunday at 9:45 a.m. in Room 201.

CHILDREN: In this Sunday’s story A Scary Storm the Preschool children will learn what happened when Jesus’ helpers were frightened by a storm. K-1, Grades 2-3, and Double Digits will learn about mercy, forgiveness, and justice as they study Jesus’ teaching about judging others.

BIBLE & BRUNCH HITS THE ROAD
This Thursday, February 17, Bible & Brunch welcomes all those interested in a guided tour of the Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Meet at MPC at 9:40 or the Cathedral at 10 a.m. Childcare will be provided at MPC from 9:30-11:45. There will then be the option to go out to lunch afterwards. Watch for details on other visits this spring on third Thursday mornings that will include The Mosque and The Temple. RSVP to the church office(office@morningsidepc.org) and indicate if you are willing to drive and how many people your car holds.

MPC BEAUTIFICATION DAY
The Facilities Committee is hosting a MPC Beautification day this Saturday, February 19 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please come help us with various projects such as painting, landscaping, and other general maintenance items. All skill levels are welcome to help us with these projects. We are in need of 15-20 volunteers. Please sign up on the bulletin board in the Welcome Center or by e-mailing Miguel Garcia at garcia.miguel@comcast.net.

FUN FOR KIDS
On Saturday evening, February 19, our new pastor Baron Mullis will be the special guest at a Father & Son Game Night at MPC 6-8 p.m. for 2nd grade and older. Contact Greg Morton at jgmorton@bellsouth.net with questions. Girls, watch for a similar opportunity soon.

RHO READERS
This co-ed group will meet to discuss Zora Neale Hurston's Their Eyes Were Watching God at 12:45 p.m. in Session Room 103 this Sunday, February 20. All are welcome.

WOMEN'S ROUNDTABLE
All women are welcome for dinner, conversation and an exciting program on Monday, February 28, from 6:30 to 8:45 p.m. at the home of Lynn Young (277 The Prado, 30309). Stephanie Mains will be our guest speaker. Stephanie is a Senior Executive at GE Energy where she travels extensively both at home and abroad. She will share with us her unique experience of traveling throughout the Middle East as a woman in a position of authority. RSVP to the church office at office@morningsidepc.org.
