CHRISTIAN EDUCATION AT MORNINGSIDE
Adult Sunday School Classes—Did I hear that right?
What makes a good sermon? A great sermon? What makes a good preacher? A great preacher? We all know good preaching when we hear it, but what makes it good? Lead by our own Baron Mullis, for the five Sundays in May, the Adult Bible Study Class will look at the form a sermon might take and what its function might be by looking at and listening to examples by five luminary 20th Century preachers. The Bible Class meets each Sunday at 9:45 a.m. in Room 201 and all are welcome.
CHILDREN'S CLASSES
The Preschool Class will celebrate Easter with a trip to the Parlor to hear the story of the empty tomb, with follow-up activities in their classroom. Elementary Classes and Double Digits will study the amazing story of the Resurrection and Jesus’ commissioning of the disciples as messengers of the Good News.
