ADULT: This Sunday, May 22, Baron Mullis continues a series of Sunday School classes entitled, "Great Modern Preachers and their Sermons
CHILDREN: The Preschool Class will listen to Over the Wall, the story of Paul’s escape in a basket and have fun lowering their own Paul in a basket. Elementary classes and Double Digits will read 1 Corinthians 12 to learn how each of them is a gift to the community of the church that is the Body of Christ.

GUEST PREACHER
We welcome Bart Smith to Morningside's pulpit this Sunday. Bart is a member of Morningside and a student at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. In his ordination process, Bart is under care of the Session of Morningside. We look forward to Bart's leadership in worship.
CONGREGATIONAL LUNCH

We wish to thank everyone who donated items for the auction to support our youth in their trip to the Heifer Global Challenge, June 8-11. Be sure to pick up a Silent Auction Booklet or view it on-line to bid on all the exciting items including vacation homes, and Braves and Symphony tickets. The auction will close at the congregational lunch following worship this Sunday, May 22. Don’t miss this opportunity!
HARMONY YOUTH CHORUS
The congregation, staff and friends of Morningside are invited to a free concert of international music presented by HARMONY: Atlanta's International Youth Chorus this Sunday, May 22, at 5 p.m. in the sanctuary. HARMONY is comprised of 80 singers, 6 to 18 years old, who represent the cultural diversity of our world. This concert also features outstanding alumni who return for this concert to join in the celebration of singing with choral movement, sign language and accompaniment with piano, percussion and instruments.
TORNADO RESPONSE
- MPC is a donation site for Wednesdays in May, 11:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m. for much needed items for those whose lives were devastated by the tornados. We are working with the grassroots organization ‘Toomers for Tuscaloosa.’
- MPC member Heather Regnault is leading efforts to collect donations of critically needed items. Volunteer for a two-hour shift on a Wednesday to receive them. Contact Heather hpregnault@ yahoo.com today to let her know how you can help.
MORNINGSIDE PRESCHOOL
- Congratulations to our Pre-K graduates! They will mark this milestone with a celebration this Friday, May 20.
- Preschool summer camp registration is now going on. To register your child or for more information, contact Sarah Tomaka mpp@morningsidepc.org.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL—JUNE 20-24
Register your 4 year old through 5th grader now for Adventures through the Wardrobe. VBS registration deadline is May 29. For more information, contact Melinda Sandkam msandkam@morningsidepc.org.
