ADULT: This Sunday, May 29, Baron Mullis concludes a series of Sunday School classes entitled, "Great Modern Preachers and their Sermons."

CHILDREN: Preschool children will hear A Song in the Night. They'll learn how Paul and Silas escape from prison in the middle of the night. In Paul's letter to the Ephesians, Elementary Classes and Double Digits will learn Paul's teaching that new life in Christ makes people part of God's household

ONE GRAY HAIR LUNCHEON
One Gray Hair will meet this Wednesday, May 25, at noon in Fellowship Hall. Betsy and Jim Armstrong will present a fascinating program on their trip to Patagonia and the Antarctic. RSVP to Richard and Sarah Brownlee rsbrownlee1046@att.net. Hope to see you there!

YOUNG ADULTS MEET FOR SERVICE AND SOCIALIZING
Young Adults are invited to help provide and serve a meal for the 30 guests at Clifton Sanctuary Ministries this Saturday, May 28, at 5:30 p.m. We need people to contribute toward pizzas and provide salad and dessert. Plan to go to dinner afterward. RSVP to Lisa Harris (Lisa.S.Harris@gmail.com).

DAILY DEVOTIONALS
The Evangelism Committee is providing copies of Our Daily Bread for the months of June thru August for members and visitors. This free devotional booklet may be picked up in the narthex or the welcome center.

FACILITIES COMMITTEE
The Facilities Committee is working on a Medical Emergency Policy. If you are CPR certified and willing to respond to a medical emergency while at church, please email John Watson at atwatson@mindspring.com. If you need further AED training, please indicate that. Your response by June 6 will help us make decisions about medical emergency training needs for the church.
 
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL—JUNE 20-24
Register your 4 year old through 5th grader now for Adventures through the Wardrobe. VBS registration deadline is May 29.  For more information, contact Melinda Sandkam msandkam@morningsidepc.org.

SIX STAR
Six Star Refugee Partnership collection of gently-used clothes for our Myanmar family continues through this Sunday, May 29.  For more information, contact Holly Campbell hollycampbell1@gmail.com.

TORNADO RESPONSE
MPC is a donation site for Wednesdays in May, 11:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m. for much needed items for those whose lives were devastated by the tornados. We are working with the grassroots organization ‘Toomers for Tuscaloosa.’
MPC member Heather Regnault is leading efforts to collect donations of critically needed items. Volunteer for a two-hour shift on a Wednesday to receive them. Contact Heather hpregnault@ yahoo.com today to let her know how you can help.

MISSION CAMP—JULY 25-29
It’s Not All About Me returns with outings to learn about those in need and how we can help. Register your (completed) 2nd-6th grader now. Deadline is June 5. For more information, contact Melinda Sandkam msandkam@morningsidepc.org.

SYMPATHY TO
Our sympathies go to James Beasley and Austin Davis on the death of James's father on Friday, May 20 in Savannah.  Let us keep James and Austin surrounded with our prayers during this time.
