What are the strengths and weaknesses of them? Is there an "original Bible" we can rely on? Explore the answers to these questions and more with the Morningside Bible Class and Jack and James Klotz in "Lost (and Found) in Translation," Sundays in June at 9:45 a.m. in Room 201.

THOUGHT OF THE WEEK
Believe that with your feelings and your work you are taking part in the greatest; the more strongly you cultivate this belief, the more will reality and the world go forth from it.        - Rainer Maria Rilke

SUMMER YOUTH OUTING
MPC kids who have completed 3rd-7th grades are off to Six Flags this Friday, June 3. Contact Meredith Loftis today loftism@gmail.com if you would like to go and also if you are an adult willing to drive and chaperone.

TIME & TALENT FAIR
Wondering how to volunteer for MPC activities? After worship this Sunday, June 5, learn about the numerous outreach endeavors and church programs at Morningside. Chairs and leaders of many different committees will be available to discuss what our church is doing and how you can help. ALL members are encouraged to fill out a new Time & Talent form so we have a current record of your interests and abilities.

SPECIAL SUMMER CONCERT AT MPC
All are invited to The Atlanta Opera High School Institute Spring Concert at Morningside this Sunday, June 5, at 4 p.m. (free admission). This concert will culminate the 2010-2011 High School educational program, and will feature 11 select young singers from public and private schools throughout the area, performing highlights from the operatic repertoire. Walter Huff is music director of the program and will accompany the singers.  The following link is from a recent newspaper article about Sunday’s concert: http://mdjonline.com/view/full_story/13495064/article-Young-talent-to-grace-the-stage?instance=lead_story_left_column.
