The physical voice we use in prayer need not be great nor startling; even should we not lift up any great cry or shout, God will yet hear us. - Origen

GUEST PREACHER
This Sunday morning we will welcome The Rev. Dr. Thomas Evans to our pulpit. Dr. Evans came to Atlanta February of 2010 to serve as the Executive Presbyter of Greater Atlanta. He previously served as Executive Presbyter of the Presbytery of Sheppards and Lapsley, headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, which includes central Alabama Presbyterian churches. In this position, he was co-founder of the Alabama Faith Council working with churches of 25 traditions, as well as fostering collaborative work between the two other presbyteries in Alabama.
LAST WEEK FOR WELCOME HOME BASKETS
We are collecting items to create “Welcome Home” baskets for the men moving on from Clifton Sanctuary Ministries. See the display in the Welcome Center for requested items and bring them in this week. Contact Shepherd Tony Fishpaw 404.597.5485 tonyfishpaw@ me.com.
NEW REFUGEE FAMILY ARRIVING
Six Star Refugee Partnership Inc. is welcoming a new family from Burma on July 27! They're a family of five: the parents, a 19-year-old uncle, and two sons, ages 2 and 18 months. Immediate needs are volunteers to help move furniture and prepare the apartment for their arrival Saturday, July 23. We are also in need of a washer and dryer. Contact Betsy Armstrong; bjarmstrong@bellsouth.net or 770.396.6496 or Holly Campbell; holly campbell1@gmail.com or 404.435.0676.
CLIFTON SANCTUARY MINISTRIES

MISSION CAMP NEEDS YOU
We have a good number of kids registered for our third Mission Camp July 25-29. We are working to secure enough chaperones/drivers. This is a very important aspect of Mission Camp, as most of our week is spent visiting outreach programs. Contact Melinda Sandkam to sign up for a morning, afternoon or whole day.
CONGRATULATIONS TO:
Lisa Jern and Tom Byrne on their June 18 marriage; Andrea Leonard and John Morgan on their July 3 marriage; Andrew and Stefanie Sudduth on the birth of their daughter, Isabella Rose Sudduth, on July 16; and Drew and Susan Kimball on the birth of their son, Anderson Kimball, on July 13 (big sisters are Annie and Lillian Jane).
