CHRISTIAN EDUCATION AT MORNINGSIDE
Adult Sunday School Classes
The books of Luke and Acts in the Bible actually are considered as one literary unit. How do scholars arrive at this conclusion? Next Sunday, October 30, we will continue our study, led by Paul Roberts, Dean of Johnson C. Smith Seminary. This class will explore the authorship, themes, distinctiveness, and practical application of what some consider the most engaging sections of the New Testament. The class meets at 9:45 a.m. in Room 201.
Children’s Classes
The Pre-K class will hear Plenty to Eat and discover how a famine reunites Joseph with his family. The K-1 and 2-3 Classes will hear how Abigail acted as peacemaker between David and her foolish husband as they study 2 Kings 4:1-7. Double Digits will continue their study of Worship with a lesson on Baptism.
