Whatever you are, be a good one.  ― Abraham Lincoln

MORNINGSIDE PRESBYTERIAN PRESCHOOL
MPP is currently accepting applications for the 2012-2013 school year. Currently enrolled families and church members have two weeks for Priority Registration. Next Monday, January 30, we begin Open Registration. Applications can be found at: http://www.morningsidepc.org/preschool/index.html. For more information, contact Sarah Tomaka, Director, at mpp@morningsidepc.org.

THE CAT SCAN HAS ARRIVED!
Are you ready to have your voice heard? The CAT Scan (Congregational Assessment Tool) is ready! You can access the survey online by clicking on this link or pasting it into your browser:   http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/morningsidepresbyterian OR you can complete a paper copy (available in the welcome center at the church or from Jill Davis at jsamail@yahoo.com). This is your opportunity to provide feedback and input on MPC and help to shape the direction of MPC for coming years, so don't delay - complete your survey today!!
Here are the facts:
1. It takes only 20 minutes
2. It must be completed in one sitting - no stopping and restarting
3. It is anonymous
4. Every person should complete one survey, not only one person per household
5. You can take it online or complete a paper copy (paper copies are available at the church and a box is in the Welcome Center for you to turn in completed surveys)
6. The survey will close on February 10, so please complete it as soon as possible
If you have any questions, contact Jill Davis. Other committee members are also available to answer questions. They are: David York, Kathy Bremer, Sue Ballay, Daisy Ottmann, and John Watson.

CLIFTON SANCTUARY MINISTRIES
This Saturday, January 28, MPC will prepare and serve dinner for 30 homeless men at Clifton Sanctuary Ministries beginning at 5:30 p.m. If you would like to help serve or can prepare one of the dinner items, please sign up on the bulletin board located outside the Session Room. You may also contact David Johnston at 617.233.2004 or dmjohnst@hotmail.com.

FOOD NEEDED YEAR ROUND
This week is your last chance to donate pop-top foods, non-perishable microwave meals and can-openers for the Intown Collaborative Ministries food pantry. Baskets for your donations are available in the Welcome Center. Contact shepherd Nancy Collins ncollins0209@gmail.com with questions.

CONGREGATIONAL LUNCH
Join us for a congregational lunch on Sunday, February 5 following worship. In order to be good stewards, we NEED YOU to RSVP, so that we know how much food to order. Our visitors on the 5th are welcome to attend the lunch, and we will plan accordingly. We need to start the new year with more accurate food orders. We hope everyone will come, but we will only order enough for the responses received. CONTACT THE CHURCH OFFICE with your RSVP office@morningsidepc.org.  Donations are accepted.

2012 BUDGET AND 2011 ANNUAL REPORT
Copies of the 2012 budget and the 2011 annual report are available in the Welcome Center.
