ADULT: We continue our study of the curriculum "Feasting on the World." This week's leader is Collier Maxwell. The class meets in Room 201 at 9:45 a.m.

BIBLE STUDY will not meet this week only due to the Vital Signs Summary meeting.

CHILDREN: The Pre-K class will hear about two sisters, Mary and Martha, in the story A Better thing to Do. Elementary classes will learn about a time when Jesus took the servant role and washed his disciples' feet.

VITAL SIGNS SUMMARY
The next opportunity to hear the results of the survey will be this Sunday, March 18 at 9:45 a.m. in the Church Parlor.

YOGA CLASS BEGINS TODAY
MPC member Pam Sharpe, seasoned yoga teacher and fitness professional, will offer yoga classes on Tuesday mornings at MPC in Room 201 from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. for two six-week sessions (March 13-April 17; April 24-May 29). If you would like to participate, or for more information, contact Pam at 404.217.5420.  

RETHINKING WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS
Women of Morningside and friends from around the neighborhood and the city are invited to join Joanna Adams as she continues our Bible Study this Wednesday, March 14 with a focus on "How does the Bible answer the question, 'What's the matter with us?'" The class will meet in Room  201 at 10 a.m. Childcare provided by reservation.  Contact Anna Best in the church office office@morningsidepc.org. Please read the following passages before Wednesday:  Genesis - Chapters 2 & 3; Romans - Chapters 6 & 7; and Luke 18:9-14.

LENTEN WALKING
We continue our Lenten walking discipline this Thursday, March 15 from 6 to 7 p.m. 

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY IS IN FULL SWING!
We continue to build a home in the Thomasville Heights area with other churches. Volunteers are needed for build dates through March. Look for the signup sheets on the Habitat bulletin board or contact Lynsley Tyler at lynsley@bellsouth.net

THE ONCE AND FUTURE FOREST
This Saturday, March 17, trees donated by Trees Atlanta will be planted in and around the wooded ravine to rejuvenate the aging canopy. If you can join us for the tree planting, please contact Mary Chapman at chapman.maryv@gmail.com  

MPP SUMMER PROGRAM
Camp Morningside summer program for children, ages 2-5, is now open for registration. We will provide 8 weeks of summer fun!  Registration forms and session information are available online at http://www.morningsidepc.org/preschool/summercamp.html.  For more information, contact Sarah Tomaka atmpp@morningsidepc.org. 

OUR HOUSE COLLECTION
Our House, a Decatur preschool for children facing homelessness is in need of diapers, wipes, gently-used spring and summer clothing for children (infant through 5 years).  Donation baskets are in the Welcome Center through March 23. 

WELCOME NEW MEMBERS
Last Sunday, March 11, Morningside welcomed the following new members:

Rebecca and Andrew Stewart
Rebecca is a media specialist, and Andrew is a health care consultant.  They have two cats and one dog.

Cliff Burt
Cliff is a program manager for the Georgia Division of Aging Services. He enjoys antiquing.

David and Emilee Terry
The Terrys are both lawyers and parents of twin 3-month old girls. They live in the Morningside neighborhood.

Maggie Blake
Maggie is a teacher by trade who enjoys yoga and outdoor activities.
