A MESSAGE FROM YOUR DEACONS
The Book of Order reminds us that the deacons' ministry is one of compassion, witness and service for the poor, hungry, sick, lost, friendless, oppressed or anyone in distress. MPC's deacons will be reaching out to members in the coming monthswith the hope of making personal contact with everyone in the congregation. We want to listen to your wants, needs and prayer requests. Look for an email or call in the near future. In the meantime, if we can assist you in any way, contact the deacon on call for the week.
ONE GRAY HAIR LUNCHEON
Come to lunch at noon this Wednesday, March 21 when Bob Wells will tell us about the "Mystery of the Trees"- curious, oddly-shaped trees that were used by Native Americans to guide themselves across the North American Continent to trade, hunt, communicate with other tribes, and gather plants for medicines and more. RSVP to the Brownlees rsbrownlee1046@att.net.
