Adults - Room 201: We will continue our study of the curriculum "Feasting on the Word." The leader will be Peter Cobb, and his topic will be "Life in Common" (text: Acts 4:32-35).
Bible Study - Room 107: The class will discuss the Corinthians struggle with paganism.
Children: Today preschool children will learn about Jesus' Ascension in the story Good-bye for Now. The K-1 and 2-3 grade classes will learn about Jesus' promise to always be with us.

RETHINKING WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS
Women of Morningside and friends from around the neighborhood and the city are invited to join Joanna Adams as she continues our Bible Study this Wednesday, April 11 with a focus on "Who is Jesus in the Bible and for us today?" In preparation for the class, please read: Matthew 5-7, Mark 8:27-38, and John 1:1-18.The class will meet in Room 201 at 10 a.m. Child care will be provided by reservation. Contact Anna Best in the church office office@morningsidepc.org.
LYDIA CIRCLE
Lydia Circle, a group of young female professionals and moms, welcomes members and visitors of MPC to join them this Thursday, April 12, from 7-9 p.m. at the home of Kelly Goldsmith (1785 Johnson Rd., 30306). Please email Tara Parrish (taraparrish@bellsouth.net) to RSVP and for any other details.
COUPLES GROUP
If you've got a spouse, partner or significant other, come get better acquainted with MPC couples for a social evening with dinner (bring a side or dessert and beverage) at the home of Peter and Sarah Chatel (4588 Pine St., Smyrna 30080) this Friday, April 13, at 7 p.m. RSVP to the Bremers (kdbremer@ bellsouth.net).
CHILDREN'S CHOIRS
The Cherub Choir will sing this Sunday, April 15. Both Cherub and Treble Choirs will rehearse this Wednesday, April 11, at their regular times.
INTOWN COLLABORATIVE MINISTRIES FOOD PANTRY
Support the ICM food collection for pop-top foods, microwave meals (non-perishable), and can openers that continues through April 29. Place donated items in the Welcome Center baskets. The next pantry workday will be this Saturday, April 14, 10:30 a.m.- 1 p.m. To help, sign up on the mission bulletin board or contact Nancy Collins ncollins0209@gmail.com.
BRAVES GAME
Morningside invites you to join us at a Braves game this Sunday, April 15 at 1:30 p.m. Seats are $20 per person. Leave from church with a bag lunch to eat at the stadium or enjoy the concessions there with your MPC friends! Please give your money to Jack Klotz or contact Katherine Johnston (kecjohnston@gmail.com) for more information.
RHO READERS
Did you know that April is National Poetry Month? In honor of the occasion, instead of discussing a book, the RHO Readers will share a favorite poem. Everyone is invited to this poetry party this Sunday, April 15, at 12:45 p.m. in the Session Room
