THOUGHT OF THE WEEK
Any fool can know. The point is to understand. - Albert Einstein

THEOLOGY ON TAP
Tonight, our men's gathering will wind up its series on practices of faith before breaking for the summer months.  Richard Brownlee will host the group (1046 Bellevue Dr., 30306). Baron notes, "As we come to the end of the series, our final topic is Dying Well. Death is a mystery about which Christians purport to be unafraid - but are we really? What does Christian faith teach us about death and how does that lead us to live?" To join the discussion, RSVP to the church office office@morningsidepc.org.

MPP'S JUNGLE JAM
Come explore the jungle at MPP's Jungle Jam this Saturday, May 5 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. We will have Dads' Grill, Madagascar Obstacle Course, Pirate Ship, King of Pops, DJ, Balloon Animals, Carnival Games/Rides, and much, much more! This is a great way to meet our preschool community and our neighbors. Contact Sarah Tomaka for more information, mpp@morningsidepc.org404.685.8758.

ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL JUSTICE ADVOCACY
Interested in environmental and social justice advocacy? Want to hear a legislative update from the 2012 GA General Assembly? Please come to the first meeting of the recently formed Environmental Action & Social Justice Committee on May 14 at 6:30 p.m. at Shelley Senterfitt's home (75 Montgomery Ferry Dr., Ansley Park). We will brainstorm our priorities and plan for the next year. Dinner will be served. RSVP to Shelley at ssenterfitt@skfamilylaw.com or 404.483.7325.

EAGLE SCOUT PROJECT UNDERWAY
Morningside Presbyterian Church is the beneficiary of an Eagle Scout Project by candidate David W. Vaughan, who is jointly registered with Troop 455 and Crew 455. To find David's project, take the trail that starts at the bridge and goes back to the seating area in the ravine. David is extending the trail from the seating area to the BBQ pit further down the ravine and cleaning out the BBQ pit. The next major effort will be to apply wood chips (when they arrive) to the trail. All members are welcome to participate in the work details and help with grill work for the BBQ pit.- David Cox, Crew 455 Adviser

SENDING SCHOOL SUPPLIES TO LIBERIA
