Adult Class, Room 201 - This Sunday, class will resume from the Labor Day break. Ken Sharpe will facilitate.
Children: The Preschool class will respond to the story It's a Noisy Place! with animal activities. Early Elementary classes will study Psalm 8 as they talk about praising God's Creation. The Older Elementary class will experience a lesson on the Offering as a component of Worship.

Morningside men will resume their monthly get-togethers tonight, September 4, at 7 p.m. at the home of Todd McDonald, 835 Rowland St., Clarkston 30021, 404.408.7776. Baron Mullis will lead the discussion. RSVP to office@morningsidepc.org.
WONDERFUL WEDNESDAYS
Wonderful Wednesdays of spending an hour reading and discussing a book of the Bible begins fall meetings tomorrow, September 5, at 7 p.m. at the home of Joe and Sue Ballay, 400 Sixth St. 30308. This small informal bunch began studying the Gospel of John in the spring, but each week's discussion stands alone. If you'd like to check out this group, be in touch with Link Marx (fmarx25@yahoo.com).

This Saturday, September 8 all are invited to the next meeting of the Young Adults hosted by Leslie and Lloyd Prince, 91 Lakeview Dr. 30317, at 6:30 p.m. Plans will be made for the 2012-2013 year. RSVP to Leslie leslieprince@comcast.net, if you would like to attend. Appetizers are welcome.
KIDS OUTREACH
Elementary grades 2nd-5th are invited to join in an outreach project at 10 a.m. thisSunday, September 9 in Room 001. We will prepare non-perishable lunches for the Brown Bag program of Cure Childhood Cancer.
THINKING ABOUT JOINING MORNINGSIDE
Morningside will offer visitors the following opportunities to learn more about our church. This Sunday, September 9 we will hold an Inquirers Class followed by a New Members Class on Sunday, September 16. FALL PREACHING SERIES
This Sunday, September 9, Baron Mullis will begin a preaching series entitled "Thinking Theologically About Modern Life." The series will continue through October 14 and will give us an opportunity to draw on the rich well of wisdom the Bible and our faith offer to aid us when life throws a curve-ball. Don't miss the post-sermon discussion in Room 201 each week at 12:30 p.m. For more information, pick up a sermon series brochure available in the Narthex and the Welcome Center.
YOGA RESUMES
Pam Sharpe, Morningside member and certified yoga teacher, will offer a gentle yoga class at Morningside on Tuesday mornings beginning September 11. To register or for more information, contact Pam at yogapam@bellsouth.net.
TAI CHI CLASS FORMING
Tai Chi will meet in Fellowship Hall on Tuesdays at 4:30 p.m. beginning September 11. The class will run for 8 weeks. For more information, contact Bob Wellswellscom@comcast.net.
