9:45 a.m. Church School for all ages; New Members Class; Called Session Meeting
Adult Class - The class will have a "Meet Drew Stockstill" opportunity, and the following Sunday, September 30, the class will be led by newly ordained Drew Stockstill.
Children: The Preschool Class will discuss the way people are to care for God's world as they respond toTake Good Care of My World! The Early Elementary Class will read Exodus 25:10-22 to learn about how The Ark of the Covenant was built to hold the Tablets of the Law, the Ten Commandments. The 4th & 5th Grade Classes will study Confession and Assurance of Pardon as components of Worship.

ORDINATION OF DREW STOCKSTILL
Plan to be at Morningside at 3 p.m. this Sunday, September 23 for a service of worship as we celebrate the ordination of Drew Stockstill. Drew is joining Morningside's staff as our minister of Adult Education and Young Adults. This special service is a once-in-a-lifetime event, so let's surround Drew with our prayers and our support!
LGBT & FRIENDS-TONIGHT
LGBT & Friends welcome all who wish to grow and be energized through Christian fellowship and service. All are invited to join LGBT & Friends tonight as Baron leads this month's discussion: What the Bible Really Says About Homosexuality. All elementary-age children are invited to attend a mission-focused Big Fun thisSaturday, September 22, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. We will be making the whole meal for Clifton Sanctuary Ministries as our main project for the day, accompanied by a Bible story and some outside fun! BAPTISM THIS SUNDAY
Eva and Carolyn Terry, daughters of David and Emilee Terry, will receive the sacrament of baptism this Sunday.
FLOWERS THIS SUNDAY
The flowers in the sanctuary are given by the Morningside congregation to the glory of God and in honor of Drew Stockstill's ordination on September 23.
FALL PREACHING SERIES
This Sunday, September 23, Baron Mullis continues his preaching series "Thinking Theologically About Modern Life." Don't miss the post-sermon discussion in Room 201 at 12:30 p.m. For more information, pick up a sermon series brochure available in the Narthex and the Welcome Center.
WOMEN'S ROUNDTABLE
We will gather next Monday, September 24, at 6:30 p.m. for fellowship, dinner and inspired conversation at a mystery location TBA soon. We will continue to meet on the fourth Monday of the month (September-November and January-April) and feature a guest speaker addressing a topic affecting our lives, either personally or as part of the world around us.
