ALL SAINTS' DAY
All Saints' Day is an observance of the church on the first day of November. Congregations observe it together on the first Sunday of November. It is an opportunity to give thanks to God for the lives of those departed from among us whom we have loved. During the Great Prayer of Thanksgiving in the communion liturgy, thanks will be given for members of Morningside and loved ones and friends close to us who have entered the Church Triumphant in the past year. Contact the church office by Wednesday, October 31 (office@morningsidepc.org) with the names of your loved ones who have died in the past year in order that we may offer their names in our prayer of thanksgiving.
