Adult Class - This Sunday, November 18, our class will be led by Drew Stockstill, and his topic will be "The Book of the Twelve:" The Voices of Israel's Prophets. Join Morningside's Adult Sunday School class as we explore the rich texts of ancient Israel's prophets.
Children: The Pre-K Class will hear Safe at Last and learn how God showed Moses how to bring the people to freedom. K-1st and 2nd-3rd grade classes will study Psalm 150 and celebrate God with music and dance. 4th & 5th graders will learn about Baptism as a part of their study of Worship.

Philip Hawkins will host MPC men for their monthly get-together tonight, November 13, at 7 p.m. (2332 Bry-Mar Drive, 30345). Baron Mullis will lead our discussion of "What are the ethics of aging?" RSVP to the church office@morningsidepc.org.
ONE GRAY HAIR LUNCHEON
One Gray Hair will meet for pre-Thanksgiving food tomorrow, November 14, in Fellowship Hall at noon. We are fortunate to have as our guests durf Humphries, son of Cindy and Bill Humphries and brother of Betsy Holland, and his wife yuanyuan. durf returned to the USA recently after living and teaching in China for several years. Their stories and pictures will offer us a unique opportunity to learn about today's China. RSVP to the Brownlees rsbrownlee1046@att.net if you plan to attend.

Morningside Presbyterian Preschool will host a Prospective Parent Open House this Thursday, November 15 at 9:15 a.m. Come meet our director, Sarah Tomaka, and parents who will give you the inside scoop on our popular preschool program. The tour guides will then take you around to see the teachers and children in action and will be glad to answer any questions you may have. RSVP to Sarah at 404.685.8758 or mpp@morningsidepc.org.
ATLANTA OPERA PRESENTS "CARMEN"
There are a couple of tickets left for this Friday's performance of "Carmen" at the Cobb Energy Center. If you would like to attend with the Morningside group, contact Sarah Brownlee at 404.403.8063.
YOUTH GROUP
This Sunday, November 18 we'll meet from 5 to 7 p.m. to play games and discuss "Giving Thanks." Contact Chris Peters chrispeters@morningsidepc.orgfor information or to join the Youth mailing list.
ANNUAL CANNED FOOD DRIVE
Through December 14 we will be filling the Atlanta Community Food Bank barrels at MPC. Requested items can be found on the barrels and the church website. ACFB partners with 600 non-profit agencies across 29 counties. An estimated 16.9% of those living in the Food Bank's service area don't always know where they will find their next meal.
LGBT & FRIENDS
All are invited to join LGBT & Friends on Tuesday, November 20. LGBT & Friends welcomes all who wish to grow and be energized through Christian fellowship and service. Michael Siedschlag will facilitate this month's "Giving Thanks" discussion. This dinner meeting will be at the home of Curt Barrett (1365 N. Morningside Dr., 30306) from 7 to 9 p.m. RSVP to Michael Siedschlag michaelmspnyc@yahoo.com.
PRESBYTERIAN DISASTER ASSISTANCE
