Adult Class - This Sunday, February 3, the Adult Sunday School class will continue its in-depth reading of the Gospel of Matthew. This week we'll begin reading Jesus' "Sermon on the Mount." Everyone is invited, so bring your coffee or tea and jump right in. We gather in room 201 at 9:45 a.m.
Children: The Pre-K Class will hear Just Believe! and learn what happened when a father asked Jesus to help his very sick daughter. The K-1st and 2nd-3rd Classes will begin a study of the Lord's Prayer by studying the phrase "Hallowed be Thy Name". Fourth and Fifth Graders will attend Worship.

Next Wednesday, February 6, Georgia State invites you to join the Higher Ground Group - Rev. Joanna Adams, Imam Plemon El-Amin, Rev. Joseph Roberts and Rabbi Alvin Sugarman - at the Rialto Center (80 Forsyth St., 30303). Higher Ground's faith leaders will discuss ways that interfaith efforts can contribute to a better Atlanta. Tuesday, February 12, 5:30-6:45 p.m. all are invited to celebrate Shrove Tuesday at our annual church and preschool Pancake Supper and Pajama Party in Fellowship Hall. Enjoy dinner for the family while Bill Packard, The Magic Man, delights kids and adults with his tricks and antics! Wear your PJs! RSVPs are requested by February 6. Volunteers are needed in 3 shifts: Prep, 4-5:30 p.m.; Serving/Greeting, 5:15-6:30 p.m.; Clean-up, 6:15-7:15 p.m. Join us for a shift or the whole event!
