This Sunday, May 5, the class will continue their work through the gospel of Matthew. Everyone is invited to join Morningside's Adult Sunday School for the complete study or as your schedule permits.

Children: The Preschool Class will listen to Over the Wall, the story of Paul's escape in a basket. Younger elementary classes will have a lesson on the Gift of Love. 4th and 5th graders will attend Worship.

SATURDAY AFTERNOON CONCERT
Join soprano Megan Mashburn and guests for a special musical event this Saturday, May 4 at 5 p.m. at Morningside Presbyterian Church. She will perform selections by Handel, Strauss, Schubert, Rossini, and Delibes. Special guests include Walter Huff (organ), Erin Palmer (piano), Mark Mashburn (trumpet), and Heather Witt (mezzo-soprano). This event is free, but donations are appreciated. Megan is raising funds to defray costs for her to attend two prestigious opera training programs, Le Chiavi di Bel Canto in Houston, TX and the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria. A reception will follow in the Welcome Center.

AUCTION PICK UP AND PAY
We will collect payment for winning bids in the BOBO Youth Auction this Sunday, May 5 in the church office. Be sure to make checks payable to MPC and note Youth Auction on the memo line. You may also mail or drop off checks during the week.

INTOWN COLLABORATIVE MINISTRIES
Support ICM by attending their Arts & Eats Fundraiser this Sunday, May 5, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Miller Ward Alumni House at Emory. To purchase tickets and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon featuring an auction, door prizes, food, music and entertainment visit intowncm.org/artsandeats.

THEOLOGY ON TAP
The next Theology on Tap dinner and discussion for all men will be hosted by Peter Cobb (1150 St. Charles Place, 30306) next Tuesday, May 7 at 7 p.m., and the topic led by Baron Mullis will be "Why Pray?" RSVP to the church office office@morningsidepc.org.

COUPLES GROUP
The MPC Couples Group invites all couples to enjoy an informal evening with friends at the home of Bill and Sanda Means (1071 McLynn Avenue, 30306) next Friday, May 10 at 7 p.m. RSVP to the Bremers kdbremer@bellsouth.net.

CONGREGATIONAL LUNCH - MAY 19
Join us on Sunday, May 19 at the Congregational Lunch following worship. Suggested donation: $10, adult; $5, children. RSVP to the church office. If you can help with set up, serving and/or clean up, contact Hillery McNeill hmcneill@bellsouth.net.

SUPPORT SENIORS THIS SPRING
Donate toilet paper, paper towels, canned meats, non-perishable microwavable meals, hearty soups, peanut butter and breakfast items through May 26 for the emergency pantry at Presbyterian Home for Seniors at Calvin Court. Place donated items in the Welcome Center baskets.

SUMMER DATES
Vacation Bible School and Mission Camp registration forms are on our church website and bulletin boards. We hope that your children will join us June 17-21 (VBS) and July 22-26 (Mission Camp).
