WORSHIP THIS SUNDAY
Welcome to worship at Morningside Presbyterian Church. Please complete the information in the Friendship Pad at the end of the pews and pass the pads down and back again during the Concerns portion of worship. Worship notebooks and books for children are located in the library. Nursery for infants is in Room 105; toddlers 18 months through 2 years are in Room 012. Children ages 3-10 are invited to leave after the Peace of Christ for special classes: Threes & fours-Room 011; K-1st grade - Room 003; 2nd-3rd grade - Room 001; 4th-5th grade - Room 005.

WELCOME CHOIRMASTER
We welcome Robert Bolyard, Interim Choirmaster, to Morningside. With a Master's degree in Choral Conducting from Yale, Robert brings a wealth of experience and knowledge. Some highlights: conducting the Yale Chamber Singers and Yale Repertory Chorus and Orchestra, and working as chorus-master for several opera productions. Coming to us from Epiphany Lutheran Church in Conyers, Robert sings with Coro Vocati, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus and Chamber Chorus, and plays the viola da gamba. He has served as guest clinician in area middle and high school choruses. In its fourth season, Robert directs Uncommon Practice, a collective of early and contemporary music vocalists. As a bonus, he improvises music for live comedy every weekend.

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
Adult Sunday School Class—9:45 a.m. in Room 201
Led by Drew Stockstill
Next Sunday, September 15, we continue our series on "Reading the Bible for Understanding." Does the Bible seem too hard to understand? Do you feel like you're missing something about these ancient texts? Ever wonder how to talk about scripture in a world that seems to be so divided by "what the Bible says?" Everyone is invited to the adult Sunday school class to explore the different types of literature in the Bible and some tools for interpreting scripture. Bring your questions, bring your thoughts, bring your brain, and bring your heart. All are welcome!

Children’s Classes
The Preschool Class will respond to the story It's a Noisy Place! with animal activities. K-1st, 2nd-3rd, and 4th-5th classes will consider Paul's message from Colossians that Christians are called to live a life of love, with age appropriate activities for each class.
