The Gardening Group
The MPC Gardening Group meets once a month on Saturday mornings for two hours to take care of the needs of the flower beds on the church grounds. We have an e-mail list of Gardening Group volunteers, to notify folks when we will be working. In July, 2006, the group started to remove weeds, trash trees, and other debris from the area behind the preschool parking lot. Pictured at right are those participating: Anne Menefee, Jo Ann Bertrand, Lynsley Tyler, Beth Baer, Nan Cunningham, Ruthlynn Newell, and Sarah Brownlee.
During the summer, the group concentrated on improving the Children's Garden.
In the fall they made stepping stones.
And during the winter they have been making the stepping stone path.
